🇰🇭 PLEASE RETURN THE LAND AND HOMES UNLAWFULLY OCCUPIED OR CONTROLLED TO THE CAMBODIAN PEOPLE.
Currently, hundreds of Cambodian families have been displaced and are unable to return to their homes because their land and houses are surrounded and illegally controlled by Thai military forces.
Thailand invaded Cambodia aggressively and took the land and homes of the Cambodian people.
😭 One year has passed, yet we are still in pain. Homes, schools, and pagodas were destroyed, forcing innocent Cambodian families to flee their homes and endure hardship.
Civilians reportedly lost their belongings, gold, diamonds, money, and livestock. The suffering is even greater when videos of these actions are shared on social media, causing further pain and humiliation.
Today, displaced Cambodian families continue to live in temporary “Waiting Villages,” far from jobs, schools, hospitals, and essential services. Their emotional wounds remain, and they still long to return to their homes and ancestral land.
🇰🇭 Cambodia calls for:
• Genuine peace and justice.
• The return of territory claimed to be unlawfully occupied.
• Respect for Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
• Accountability for damage and suffering.
Cambodia is a small country, but a nation with honor, a proud history, and a noble identity. Cambodian people want peace, justice, respect for international law, and the right to live safely in their homeland.
