Whenever a government keeps repeating one point, it is because the point is fragile.
They say:
“scientifically verified”
“newly laid landmines”
“recent landmine incidents”
“significant international concern”
This is over-signalling.
If it was actually solid, they would just present the report, not repeat the phrasing.
Over-repetition = weak evidence.
why ??
They still cannot name the independent verifier.
Who verified the landmines?
Which lab?
Which country?
What methodology?
Which timestamp?
Which soil test?
Which chemical signature?
None.
They avoid naming any independent body because no independent body has verified it.
This is Thailand validating Thailand in front of foreigners. Only Thai officials quoting Thai officials to foreign diplomats.
This is how insecure states try to force a narrative into diplomatic space. They desperately try to reframe the Kuala Lumpur Accord.
This is an attempt to borrow credibility through proximity.
” When a country says “we pursue peace” in every paragraph, it usually means they are preparing for blame avoidance. It is pre-emptive self-defense. The motive is clear: Thailand fears the international narrative slipping away. They overuse the phrase “pursuing lasting peace.
They invoke RBC, GBC, IOT, AOT but none of those folks issued statements.
None of these folks have publicly confirmed Thailand’s claims.
None have endorsed Thailand’s assessment.
None have released findings.
When a state hides behind their names, it is because the institutions themselves are silent.
This is an attempt to borrow credibility through proximity.
