Bore Angkor Srey Tep city has never been under the gate of Mon, as some writers mentioned.

...............................................................................

Srey Tep City (Si Tep) is located in Pe Chr Bone Province (Pe Chraborn / Sanskrit Vach Borak) in Thailand, which is currently a province in the north-east village of Bangkok and is between the central and northeastern villages at the 101 degree East. This Khmer Bore Ang city is located away from Bangkok for about 349 centimeters. M along Thailand national road number 21 (in the map of Bore Angkor roundabout).

This ancient Khmer province, which was originally called Vach Borak (decorated on the character of Sokhonei era) has a border with some other Khmer provinces, such as Chey Phum Phichit Pisnu Leak and Kon Ken .. As usual.

Please be informed that Pichr Bone province is near Nakor Sovann province, which is in the south of Reach Borey province and Leroy province with an area of 12,6, 418 square meters.

The large Pich Boon city is currently built in the 14th century during the Sokohai or Pishnu era. Next, this city has to be expanded in the business of King Siem, named after Samdach Preah Naray the Great in Ayutthya, because this king took the stream or river as a center of central land, surrounded by bricks and stones.

But not far from the town of this city, it is found in Srok Srey Tep, an ancient city of Khmer called 'Srey Tep", is in the period of medieval culture between the mountains and the famous Chenla. Not only Khmer authorities have occupied this strategic area until the Bayon era, as there are some ancient artifacts as evidence.

Thai archaeologists have found many Khmer ancient artifacts in the mountain kingdom culture and the interval between the mountain kingdom and Chenla which are located in this city. Also, to understand about the birth of this kingdom, we need to know that its emergence was done in conjunction with the growth of Lvak (Lop Borey) Chan Borey, and this ancient city was the main Khmer headquarters or headquarters of Cambodia to the Mon Kingdom (in present Myanmar). That's why Khmer in Chenla's era influenced the culture of Mon people for sure.

Landmarks, city and Khmer temples, art, culture in Angkor period and before Angkor period are often near the city and some are tall and surrounding it. It is observed that there are water taps on the outskirts of Kampeng. But in Srey Tep city, some small and big temples are observed made of mud stones and dry rice, as well as sculptures of angels and Buddha, stone, silver and gold etc.

In addition, there is still the presence of noble and noble people as well as many other Buddhists. All the antiques are Khmer style as they found in Bachimborey, Chan Borey and Lop Borey province.

Currently, the situation of Srey Tep, which is shaped like a crocodile of twin cities with inner parts and outer parts of the city, has a water system in the city. The surface of the earth is like a raging tidal wave.

The presence of cemetery and materials made of stone, silver and iron in this Bore Angkor era, there are people living at least 1500 years ago BC. White as well.

Please be informed that in 1904, this city had a lot of ancient art, such as the statue of Lek Sima Buddha.. . . . Etc. But now a big part is lost. They found the character board written by Khmer in Samskot language as well.

A recent study has found a character Selah in 1999, which indicates that this character was created by King Varman I in 567 AD (attached).

Overall, it can be said that Srey Tep City was an ancient Khmer city at the end of the mountain kingdom and was included in the border poles of Chenla Kingdom which was built on the basis of the mountain kingdom ( គ. Vol. 1-9) which Thai researchers call the art of the door by mistake, sadly.

The source of Bore Angkor is defined by the statue of Lord Vishnu which is in the style of Phnom Da. Embellishment on ancient objects makes it known that Chenla Empire expanded or stretched its power to the bottom of the Basak River, covering the province once, as the presence of the above commanders is evidenced.

These are something we will analyze more closely next time.

Overall, through studies of archaeology, art, it has been discovered that the foundation culture here features a sync between religion and Buddhism, using Sanskrit and Bali, as contained in the Ayutthya and the Royal Characters attached to it.

Like some other cities, Srey Tep city, which has gone through many eras, from the mountainous culture era to the Bayon era, has gone through all stages of the development of the Khmer Empire, and was eventually abandoned by the Khmer authorities shortly after the Bayon era. And the abandonment of this village is caused by political factors after losing the war.

In 1904, the city was first researched by a Thai prince named Dam Rong, but permanent preservation repairs have only been carried out in the past years.

Chea Vasan, please note that in Srey Tep city, which has Phnom Da style, had to continue to Prey, Kampang, Preah and Bapoun style before reaching the Bayon culture era in the 7th King Chayavarman. The progress of Buddhism in both Nikai during Chenla era is reflected through excellent Buddhism. Very interesting.
